I am currently riding a size 40.5″, it’s small enough to offer amazing control on the wave without sacrificing speed down the line. This is something which has worked for me over the last few years, and I’m certainly not one to change a good thing. Much the same as my sizing I continue to rock a PP core with ProRide as for it working best for me. It offers the best flex, drive and pop for Gold Coast waters. The ProRides T90 beams strengthen and increase the durability of my boards.
This year I’ve got a board with the ISS system (interchangeable stringer system) and am currently rocking the carbon fibre stringer due to the current wave size (small). Although I’m itching to try soft flex once some waves over four-feet decide to show up. I’ve been riding NMD boards for close to five years now and can easily say that each board has been incredible. I can’t speak highly enough of the quality and consistency.
1.9lb PP (Polypropylene), 1 x ISS (Interchangeable Stringer System), 55/45 Double Rails, Graduated Channels, Surlyn Slick, Wavecushion Air 8lb PE, Crescent Tail Piece, Player Deck Contour, MESH, CNC Shaped and Nose Bulbs.
